Grain — Daraobong Ekpo Animation

The production for this short logo ident started during my time at OCAD University.

It was made for a motion design course instructed by Karen Justl. We were assigned to introduce and reveal a logo over time.

Synopsis

A made up food produce company named “Grain” decided to change directions under new leadership. A new logo has been commissioned to establish that arrangement. This is the brand launch video.

Pre-Production

Creating and brainstorming ideas for the logo with sketches and concepts in Adobe Illustrator.

Final logo design

The next step was to storyboard each sequence. This was done using Adobe Photoshop.

Later, I decided to stylize and design the characters to be more appealling.
